Responsibilities
Visualize the script with drawings to tell a story cinematically: Staging scenes, composing shots, and posing out acting for a show with comedy and heart
Will need to rough out the visuals first, then finish with tighter drawings
Time storyboards in Storyboard Pro
Meet with directors to discuss objectives of storyboard
Take direction from director(s) regarding translation of script to storyboard
Discuss any creative issues with directors and supervisors
Delivery of storyboard per production schedule set by production team
Communicate with production team regarding deadlines and deliveries
Ensure quality and style of show is consistently achieved in storyboard work
Organizing Storyboard Pro files to series standards
Pitch and attend storyboard pitches (as needed)
Noting and labeling storyboards for production

Requirements
Qualifications
Previous television storyboarding experience preferred
A strong sense of character acting and posing
Ability to draw in the style of production
Strong staging and composition skills
Strong time-management skills
Ability to take direction

About the Company
Silk Road TV Station was established in 2018 and is one of the first Chinese TV stations to be launched on the East Coast of the United States of America.
The programming we will be airing comprises four categories: Chinese and American culture news, community, and entertainment. Silk Road TV station adheres to the traditional Chinese cultural temperament and is compatible with the concept of internationalization.
It will be constantly exploring the areas of planning, programming, packaging, technology, communication, marketing, and management while striving to become a recognized US media brand.
We are carving a unique content programming niche in North America. The credibility and influence of the Chinese and American cultures allow for a deeper exchange and understanding between the two great cultures.
The main purpose of the channel is to spread China's magnificent culture, bringing Chinese ethos and tourism to the world, allowing for more people to appreciate, understand and fall in love with China.
Silk Road TV will broadcast on Roku, Apple TV which will reach millions of American viewers. As we grow we will also share our content with other media partners worldwide.
We will be creating original programming such as: "Living in the United States", "International Students in the United States", "The Origin is You", "News Information", "The Temptation of Old Movies" We will also receive and cooperate with other media outlets by rebroadcasting shows such as: Hunan Satellite TV "New Year Walks to the Grassroots", Newark TV Station "Newark Music Festival", Asian TV "Dating in NY", "Into Asia"
